Has anyone stayed at the LV in CGB? I will be there in 12 days for a 2 day stay in route to pickup a SC in Sopers Hole. I've heard that Malcia Rymer Bean is the owner and the online reviews seem to be positive but I'd like a TTOLers perspective.

Stayed there on two occasions. Great place. Malcia is a wonderful host. Only issue is the walk up the hill to get to the rooms. Not really a problem for the marginally fit person

We've stayed there twice as well in the penthouse on the top floor. Malcia was a great host and (at the time) lived right on the property. Great view and a short walk to anywhere in CGB.

We stayed there a LONG time ago and it was lovely then. For anyone who has been there lately, has the construction below affected their view?

That works out well Eric since you're a marginally fit person. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />

Can't wait to meet up with you Soper's Hole. Enjoy your CGB visit. I'm jealous.

The construction at Quito's will have no effect on the view from Lighhouse Villas. Was there a week or so ago and spoke to Malcia about it. The main part of the construction will not be in front of her villas at all.

Lovely place!

Thanks so much for the responses. Seems like a beautiful and convenient place to venture out from.

Yeah, we were there several years ago. Now, I probably wouldn't be so happy with that trek up the hill. It's a nice place with a lovely view from the upper floors. Enjoy!
