The Jereckis are eventually going to get around to building their eco-resort at the top of the hill. They have built almost everything including the helipad. Just no guest rooms.

We had drinks & dinner there last November. The food was good and the service was wonderful; however it was one of the pricier meals we had that week.

Well pretty soon they'll have a carpet rolled out so those delicate sensitive adventures won't get that nasty irritating sand on their feet.

The long term plan is to turn Norman into an up scale eco-resort. Similar to Guana Island but more exclusive and the Jerecki's have plenty of money to do it with. I am just mistified why it is taking so long.

Looks like it did when we there the first week of December except the lounge chairs are new and so is the $30 charge.

Not sure how anyone had dinner there in November since we were there on their second day open for dinner in the end of December, unless they had a soft opening earlier. But while it was ok, we felt they needed some time to get their feet under them before we'd go back. We had a better meal at Pirate's the following week.

And the Club doesn't have La Poussie on their wine list.

It was as crowded there between Christmas & New Year's as White Bay, with at least ten boats on the dock (2 cats overnighted on the dock), 10 mega yachts at the outside edge of the harbour, a cruise ship, and that red day-tripper catamaran that we usually see at JVD. So the extended beach area was very welcome. Much less crowded (though still hopping) the following week.

Well, could be I'm mistaken on where we ate. It was Nov 19th - last night of our charter. So there's Pirates Bight and this new place The Club both in the same bay as the Willy T? We had cocktails at the Willy T then dinghied over to what I thought was this new place. They sure look alike. Oh well. I do remember after dinner we were out of rum on the boat and we tried to buy a bottle from the bar. They would only sell us shots - at some stupid price. Did that stop us from buying 4 shots of rum poured into my empty water bottle to take back to the boat? Um, no. Apparently I really needed rum that night

Rum is a major food group in the islands. I admire your commitment to getting a balanced diet that includes rum the "other" food group.

Hahahaha!

That was probably Pirate's. We were there just after thanksgiving & the Club still had plastic wrap around it.

So do we... Despite the hilarious name it's quite a nice wine!
