Just returned from our trip, we had a villa on Tortola for 4 days then 10 days of sailing on a chartered bareboat cat.
We wrapped up our trip with 2 nights at Emerald Beach Best Western, great way to wind down before heading home!
We had 2 rooms in the 4100 building, the rooms were very nice, very clean, had great AC and nice linens.
Both rooms had very nice ocean views yet felt very private.
The desk Staff was helpful at check in as well as during our stay.
We declined maid service/housekeeping, as it was not necessary.
The bar and pool areas were wonderful, very relaxing but stay on your toes for the big iguanas!!
Craig was our bartender most of the time, really nice guy and fun to talk to, makes a mean rum Punch too!
Several local characters hang around the bar in the afternoon, Big Joe (not so big) Eveready (cool guy) and a few others.
The lunch and appetizer menu is complete, very good food, fast service and really reasonable prices!!
We ate at the restaurant both nights and were very pleased with the selection, quality and prices of the food.
The service was with a smile and very good as well.
The beach out front was very nice and the snorkeling was decent.
I had negotiated a rate when I reserved the rooms, next time I will have it in writing, upon check out they were not initially honoring the negotiated rate but with Management input they did honor the agreed upon rate.
All in all, very pleased with our stay, much needed downtime after a fun but busy sailing vacation!!
I would book Best Western Emerald Beach for sure on our next visit! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Thumbsup.gif" alt="" />
