What a day! Taxi on time, AA from San Antonio to Miami on time and actually landed about 20 minutes early, Miami to SXM on time and actually landed about 20 minutes early again. The plane Gods are with us! Dwayne met us and took us to Unity for our car - a new Corolla, which scares me, I prefer the Seasoned ones, already broken in with scratches and dings. But, it is nice, and Michael was proud he could "upgrade" us. Uneventful drive to Orient Village. Met Laure for our condo, Caribbean Salt. What a great job she does. Immaculate, fresh fruit basket, Planteurs Punch, cokes, beer, water, wine, everything you need to get started. Walk out of the patio, cross the street, and you are at Kakao. Beach was clean, hardly any seaweed. Really good burgers at The Yellow Sub. Finished the wine , and hit the hay! A great start.

Sounds like a really great start to any trip but particularly one to SXM. Thanks for sharing and hoping you're willing to continue to do so as your days continue. So many of us live vicariously through them until it's our turn again......... Enjoy!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />
