C-Lounge at Alegria caught fire on Sunday night. There is a story at St Martin News Network. Also, it appears due to the fire, the Maho Beach Cam is down.

C Lounge has been there for years Carol...One of the last survivors from the Manek era along with the Taco Restaurant. It's located where the sales office for the Timeshare units used to be, close to the Chinese restaurant. It's the last building closest to Building A and C in the long strip of restaurants that line the parking lot.

Apparently the fire has left the Sunset Bar, Chinese store, and a few other businesses without power. No idea on when it is going to be restored. There are pictures of the damage available from Brian Schider on Facebook. Facebook registration not required to see pics.

The witness told police he had seen the alleged perp run toward Beacon Hill and the police told him that that area is very dark.
