Just booked a Royal Carribean cruise next February out of San Juan. Cruise is Sunday to Sunday. I have been looking for flights and am puzzled. Flight times on the Saturday before are fine, however all the return flights the following Sunday (ship arrives at 6:00am) are between 1 and 3 am. I only found 1 flight on AA that leaves at 9:45 am. Is that enough time to disembark and get to airport. Was looking for a noon flight or there abouts, but none to be found. Looked on Orbitz, CheapO, etc. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Southwest hasn't opened up Febuary yet. We are booked on a RC cruise in Febuary as well out of PR. Right now they are showing a 2:25 departure on the last Sunday in November. We have flown out of PR on SW a bunch and they always have a midday flight. Not sure if they fly to your home base.

Thanks, I will check out SW when it becomes available. We have never taken a cruise from PR and are still wondering if a 9:45am flight is possible if we disembark by 6:30??

Might be cutting it close on the time. When you get onboard the Ship, take your plane tickets to the front desk to show them you have an early flight, and they will put you in the first group to disembark the Ship. I would take a cab from the Cruise Terminal to the Airport, and not waste time on a shuttle. If the Ship arrives on time (weather permitting), and Customs and Immigration goes smoothly, the boat will probably start letting people off at 7:00 or so. You should be to the airport 1 to 2 hours early, and you might beat the crowd from the other Cruise Ships and make your flight. I would not feel comfortable with the time you have, but if everything is already set in stone so that no changes can be made, enjoy your Cruise, and hope the Airport has things running smoothly.
Good luck !!
