The Moorings is always a good company to charter boats from and they do have some powerboats on Tortola. TMM is a very good boutique operator and they have at least one powerboat on Tortola. Virgin Traders http://virginmotoryachts.com/ is an operation on Tortola that only focuses and offers power boats. There are others if you look. At times with large groups we use one of the Virgin Traders boats as a large tender. Check the age and condition of any powerboat you want to charter in the Virgin Islands.

How about MarineMax? They have a 38' power cat I believe. I've got friends that have used them two years in a row and seem happy with them....

We chartered with Virgin Motor Yachts in April. Happy with their customer service! Boat showed its age - but that's expected of a 13 yr old boat in charter in the BVI's. (It was a 2003 48' Horizon)

Wherever you charter... Check the beam. Wider the better. I charter with Moorings. Their 37pc has a 14 ft beam. Their 39pc has a20ft beam. Much better ride in rough conditions and easy for two handle. Have her drive and you take care of the rest. Have a great trip.
