Courtyard's bar is pretty good early evening, we like Fishbone's for good Cajun food and bands, Hockeytown by the Fox is great for basic bar food and to watch sports, Andiamo's in the RenCen is a nice romantic dinner spot. DEFINITELY go to Lafayette Coney Island NOT American for a great Detroit Coney Dog and a beer!!!
Enjoy the awesome architecture, walk into the Book Cadillac, the Whitney Building, and the Guardian for a great treat.
It's been a couple of years since our last visit so I know there are more new places but enjoy those I mentioned.
