Land-based, we love Spring Bay/Valley Trunk for a beach walk and swimming - snorkeling is just okay. Long Bay has our favorite snorkeling from land and is reasonably sheltered in a north swell. We enjoy a later afternoon visit to The Baths and Devils Bay. Rent a dinghy for the day at Leverick and hit some of the protected spots in North Sound.
