Meg,
I think you are spot on with your directions and perception of the location. Once you go through Maho, Mullet and Cupecoy areas, stay on the same main road and it will be in the Nettle Baie area on the left. It and LeSand both have good sized signs so not to worry - no way can you miss it.
It is a beach bar and also a very nice restaurant where many besides yourself will be dressed in swimsuits and cover-ups along with many area business people who come just for lunch and will be more dressed up - pity them!! I bet most of them would rather be there for a day on the beach..... <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />
We usually make a full day of it when we go even though we go primarily for the food and the idea of dining there. We've also gone for dinner and it is lovely. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />
Respectfully,
