We have stayed at Simpson bay for years. Never had a problem. We store anything of value we don't need. Passports credit cards, laptops etc... All fit. However I don't have 100% trust at any hotel so I do make a mental inventory about what I put in the safe before hand. Especially cash. I have heard incidents at other hotels where any theft is subtle. Some one with the pass key and $20 lifted here and there does not get noticed.... That said the safes at SBR are fairly new and resort security has been greatly improved. Again. never had a problem and we trust them.
