Yesterday at about noonish it started to pour here - like the monsoon season hit the Caribbean. Today, just about noon we were sitting on the pool deck and would you believe.......yup! It's pouring buckets again. We made it back to the front door, having just finished lunch by the pool, and the raindrops started falling. And I do mean falling. You could hear the first droplets plopping on the sidewalk and front entry way tiles. We're on the 7th floor and can barely see the pool bar or any of Point Pirouette, both of which are usually visually prominent from our balcony.
And I'm thinking it will probably clear out just as fast as it moved in but this is another couple of SXM first for us - rain two days in a row and today it's even got company in the name of thunder and lightning. Never before in all our years of visits.....
And unbelievably, as I'm writing this, it sounds like the rain is already abating........too late, I'm ready to snugly in for an afternoon nap!
Respectfully,
pat
