I received a very short note from Shurma St. Clair who assured me the staff is okay but said nada about the property itself. If Luis -1995 - is any indication of what may have happened, I'm hoping the problems are minor. The Towers lost a few roof tiles and some landscaping in that storm while St. Maarten lost most of Mullet Bay Resort. I'm hoping for a similar outcome this time but I'm not too optimistic........
As for actual communications with them, I plan on waiting at least a week or two before I think about changing or cancelling our November or March trips. They have enough on their minds right now, I'm sure, but in my heart and mind, as much as I'd love to be there, I don't think the island will be remotely ready to receive visitors judging by the photos I've seen today and I would hate to pose a burden by my presence.
