You sound like a prudent skipper, so trust your instincts. We were at Leverick almost exactly a month ago with 25+ kt winds at our slip for two days, whitecaps in North Sound, large swell, and frequent heavy rain. We had also heard that many (wise) sailors who had already hunkered down at Anegada were staying put, so the moorings were very full. Hopefully you had a great night tonight with Michael Beans...maybe sit tight another day and be flexible. We cancelled our Anegada plans, but we will be back!
