I use AT&T also. I turned on "International Day Pass" which gives you voice, text, and data for $10/day. If you don't use voice, text, or data on a day you don't get charged. So I turned off cellular data on my phone (so it wasn't downloading all the time) and used wifi. Is it better to turn off Cellular Data or put in Airplane Mode?? We plan on using AT&T International also, but mostly with WIFI. Someone mentioned getting charged for responding to Facebook message---you need WIFI to get Facebook, so how would that be a problem??
