I've more or less pieced together our own travel insurance. Medigap covers each of us with a $250 deductible and a $75k lifetime limit. I'm not too concerned about bumping up against that limit on foreign travel on a single trip. We have emergency evac coverage through DAN and our Costco Visa card offers trip cancellation for up to $3000/person/trip for charge made on that card (that offers a 3% rebate on travel). The only incremental cost is the DAN policy that costs $55 p.a. for the two of us. I use the Dan coverage too but now they won't include the medical if you're 70 or older like I am.
