Hello,
Definitely wear shorts. The sun here is a constant. Beautiful but constant. I have seen people in the cathedral here with shorts as well. But can’t speak to other church’s or towns. I remember having to cover your shoulders and head.

We have not made dinner reservations at all. But we are also not eating in any of the more foodie places. There are many small foodie restaurants around but many more small local places that you just walk into. We tend to hit the market and the more local places.

For you get out on the water adventure, if you are thinking a tour type, you will need to go to a different town. Not much leaves from here. Nice, Cannes or Juan les Pins have most of the group tours.

If you have been reading cultural stuff about France number one is always say bon jour, and let them return it. Then you can speak. Very similar to many Caribbean countries.

One of your stops is close to our next stop. We are heading to Chambery on Wednesday. Time to see some Alps.
