Thank you! I will check that out.
We are hoping there are members of this group who are also looking for a partner for a new Moorings boat. With two partners, each partner has three weeks of scheduled sailing and three weeks of short-notice sailing each year. That is more time than many of us have to devote to vacations, especially if some of those weeks are vacations with your partner. Three partners are much better for us. It removes most of the concerns of how we can arrange our schedule to be able to use that much time sailing each year and it also lowers our investment. By the way, we have come out slightly ahead financially with each of our Moorings leases. With our Leopard 46, after considering our purchase cost, the trade-in value from the Moorings, the guaranteed income every month, and the depreciation value, we made 2% overall on our investment and were able to sail throughout the world. At this point, if we trade in our Leopard 48 to the Moorings, we will be about 3% ahead. (Really, the only financial constraints have been the cost of the travel.)
