I try to ask as many locals as I can about where they like to eat as well as gain opinions from those of us on this forum. Then, I try to weight the results and make an informed decision. Every place has good and bad days, but usually the better places are a safer bet in the long run. I was shocked at how overcooked the ribs were at Rosie's. Some were simply not edible. Overall, all of our dining experiences were good highlighted by that beef skewer dish at Yellow Sub and the improvement in the cheeseburgers at Perch Bar & Grill. Still trying to figure out why some places on the Dutch side charge the service fee while others forego it.
