So how do my naturist friends that love Club O tolerate being a naturist up in the northern US or Canada in the winter? I live in North FL so I can afford to run my heat at 70-72 degrees in the winter.

We solved that problem by visiting...and then buying a condo at and becoming members at... Avalon Resort in the Eastern panhandle of WV about 40 minutes NW of Winchester Va. Avalon is a year-around resort that is really set up well for winter c/o use.

For first time visitors, staying in one of the 18 motel-style rooms in "The Lodge" puts you in a well heated connected nudist friendly facility, starting with the dining room and main bar at one end, proceeding down the corridor between the motel style rooms on either side, then down the enclosed, heated ramp to the "Nudsino" casual bar with darts, a pool table, and five slot machines on the West Virginia State Lottery network. Passing the Nudsino, you enter the aquatic center with a heated pool and two heated spas inside a greenhouse building making the most of what sun there is, and finally you come to the fitness center with a small selection of workout equipment.

We go up there at least once or twice a month all winter long...more often in the warmer and hotter months.

...and that's how WE survive winter! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />
