We've been twice and are returning in 8 days for another week. There is no doubt the property is run down in many ways. The government is trying to sell it and N remains basically a placeholder to get some rent during that process. Given the poor results selling smaller resorts, that situation could go on for many more years. I don't think it is a tear-down. The buildings are meant to be more rustic, but could be renovated to make them more glamp than camp. Club Orient is rustic, but in much better shape.

But, we keep going back. First, it is one of the few places you can go and be nude all of the time if you want. There are others. We have been to Club Orient and Paya Bay and loved both of them. We really want to go to Hidden Beach. But, N has been considerably cheaper than any other resort like that. It's not that money is everything, but taking a spring break trip this year to N fit our budget. We are about $3100 including airfare and trip insurance; try that with just about any other resort in March. Otherwise, we would not be going.

There are many positives for us. We are going to relax and it is a relaxing place. The food is good and plentiful. The staff is good. The pool is nice, though it could be heated. The water slide is wonderful. Their beach is very nice and the miles of beach you can walk are fabulous and unique to this resort for sure. They have hammocks that we love to relax and read in. And, you can be nude all of the time if you like. Oh, and including the transfers is a good part of the bargain.

The big negatives are the rooms, grounds, and maintenance. The rooms could use a renovation for sure. But, we don't spend a lot of time in the room. The grounds are nice, but feel a bit run down and getting a bit wild. And, there are lots of little things that need to be fixed. Recent reports have also complained about Freddie yelling at the staff, though we have not seen that.

But, we have thoroughly enjoyed our other trips and are counting the minutes to this trip. Could the place be better? Certainly. But, will we have a great time? Certainly. So, we keep coming back.
