I'd forgotten the info regarding capacity limitations, etc. I'm for anything that helps St Maarten, and getting some traffic there in the low season can't hurt. I'd say your speculation is also accurate..if this thing takes off, other cruise lines will surely try to copy in their efforts to recover. St Maarten is voted the most popular Caribbean cruise port every year, and has the regions best airport..cruise facilities.
