I'm not Ed, but the concept that people would actually take their temperature and report it TRUTHFULLY, if it happened to be high, is kind of silly, to me.
The requirement for daily temperature checks is still on the official government website, as of now. You would not want to know if your sick?????? If the end result is daily checking your temperature then I see no downside.
