And let's just say that, somehow the car rental guy didn't get around to paying his bills this month and the insurance gets cancelled, for whatever reason. What then? Don't know. For St. Maarten, the past couple of trips, my trip insurance had a car insurance rider in the policy. I'd a lot rather trust THAT insurance than one from the car rental guys, if worse came to worse.
