The main road from the bottom of the roundabout all the way to the causeway was pretty much under water but we didn’t know that at decision time but in our case, ‘slow and steady’ won the race. Until, that is, we had to deal with the flooded areas around Maho Bay and white Sands. But that was cake by comparison to what we’d already encountered.
