Today is our last full day. So sad but our next visit will be when I retire next June and plan to do at least two weeks. So alot to look forward to! It makes it easier to say goodbye to the island for now. Again we spent another glorious day on Orient at Club O. The wind seemed to be less but the sargassum on the beach was probably the worse all week. A bit disappointed that Cedric did not get the tractor to clean but hey, we are at Club O and just the view alone made up for the sargassum along the shore. The water was crystal clear and the walks along the beach were breathtaking. We met a lot of great people from all across the US. We had our last lunch at the Perch bar and enjoyed a grilled mahi mahi burger while hubby had a beef burger. Exceptional but very filling. We said our goodbye to the beach around 4pm and headed back to the villa to pack. I hate packing when leaving a vacation. We decided to have a late dinner and ventured to the village around 8pm. Very out of the norm for us. We decided on Le Bouchon for dinner and again no disappointment in our choice. We started our dinner with escargot (again) as we don't get them back home and they were just as good as Ocean 82 the night before. Hubby has grilled prawns in a garlic butter tomatoe sauce over spaghetti and I had the beef check with a mushroom gravy. I hardly ever order beef but I knew this would be good and it was exceptional! It also came with mashed potatoes. We were stuffed so no dessert. All in all another fantastic day in paradise and another trip that becomes a great memory.
