A local would never get a bill that high. I think they know the cost of healthcare in the US and have raised their prices for tourist. In 2002 I cut my foot they gave me a Tetanus shot about 8 stitches pain killers and extra bandages. The cost flipped me out I couldn't believe it Total $14.00, just fourteen dollars.
