It's a wonder they are still in business. When my daughters backpack was stolen in Amsterdam with her passport, cc's and Eurorail pass I called my AMEX office here and they had a rep from Amsterdam call me in STT - he sent a car for her, got her a hotel room and got everything replaced in under 24 hrs. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" /> It is their International service that keeps them in business - try calling your Visa/MC/Discover/Capitol One rep for that kind of help.
