Beerman, no it's not just your villa. I have never stayed at a place in SXM that had large coffee mugs! I decided to look for an insulated mug on Orient Beach and they're non-existant! Well I did finally find an insulated glass at the Club O store, L'Orientique. (I think they had weird cheap plastic insulated mugs too but I don't want one of them.) So now on my "bring from home" list is a large insulated coffee mug. It's apparently a cultural thing.
