We got back from SXM 1 1/2 weeks ago and would like to thank everyone for all their input. We had a fabulous time. Daughter age 15 and her friend and husband and me. We stayed at the Alamanda. What a perfect place. The girls were upstairs and I was happy that I didn't have to share a bathroom with them. Loved all the staff there, especially Curtis. We did rent a car but we were so in love with Orient that we didn't have the wherewithal to visit other beaches. Next trip. Dined at Spiga, Le Cottage and Tap 5. All fantastic meals. Also ate at a couple of the spots near us, L'Astrolabe (pumpkin soup was to die for) and also Le Plantation (that was the only restaurant open that night because of TS Chris). The meal was good, not great but we had a good time.

Found Luiz and all three of us girls had suits done up. It's the best fitting suit I have ever had. And he's such a sweetheart. Did shopping in Marigot and Philipsburg.

It was a great trip with lots of great memories. We just totally relaxed which is what we all needed. Again, thanks to all for input over the past couple of months!!
