Is this your first time to SXM?
As far as the Villas, relatively new there, all nice units except that I hope that you don't have a studio. The studios have only a dorm sized fridge, which is hard to keep enough drinks in to keep one appropriately hydrated. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Smile.gif" alt="" /> The balcony is pretty small also. Since you're in October, if you're in a studio, you might check to see how much more it would be to upgrade, if you rented from the resort, as I figure they will not be full then. The area has lots of great restaurants, there is also the casino at the resort, and Red Piano, which has great music in the evenings. Enjoy your stay!
