So we took our catamaran trip over today and it wasn't too bad; there were some good swells but that made the trip more fun. We arrived at Rendezvous Bay, which was beautiful and calm; unfortunately our destination was Shoal Bay so it was into a bus and off we went. Shoal Bay was a different kettle of fish, beautiful but rough. Since lunch was scheduled at Shoal Bay we ate there and then got bussed back to Rendezvous Bay so we could swim then it was back on the big "Cat" for our trip back to SXM. The trip back was more calmer but as we got close to the Lowlands area the swells started to pick up and it got windy. In the distance we could see black clouds and rain coming down, but also witnessed the most glorious rainbow we'd ever seen. We returned to our digs and dumped our stuff off, then headed over to The Dream to see Marty and Lori who are heading off to Daytona tomorrow. Unfortunately, we missed Marty but we did see him last night when we ate at Gyro - the food was wonderful. Poor Lori was freezing, it was quite windy and there were black, ominous clouds over the ocean but it didn't rain. I think we're going to sleep like babies tonight after all that sea air.
