Computerwise Traveler C Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 141	As a 30 time plus vacationer to St.Maarten, I agree 100Pct with Contessa that staying at BSV right next to the airport is incredible noisy, starting at 7AM. The whole Caribbean vibe is ruined for me. I also think the vibe is not that enjoyable in Gran Case for lodging, narrow streets, old buildings, very narrow and unimpressive beach.Yes there are great restaurants, and I recommend you visit them, but I would never stay in Gran Case. Staying in Orient Beach, Cupecoy or Oyster Pond areas are the nicest with convenient and easy beach access.
