And that is why we all have choices and what works best for one might not be best for another. I am pretty sure almost all of us travel to SXM and/or Anguilla on a budget. Convenience and comfort come at a price and only the individuals involved can make their personal financial decisions as to what fits their budget.

I will disagree though with GB and the deposit thing. We had a situation where we had 5 people booked. Two of the people had to leave SXM suddenly due to a death. They not only did not charge them they gave the other 3 of us the option to cancel without penalty and no charge at all if we did not want to go to Anguilla. We simply told them what happened and they were understanding but it was not a case of us changing plans.

Both GB (and other private ferries) along with the public ferry are viable options but what is the "best" is an individual decision.
