I have probably had five of them over the past 20 years. I cannot live without it. I have a always called it a Buerre Blender. Not sure if it is an old brand name or the professional name. The one we have at work weighs about 20 lbs and you just put it in a five gallon bucket of something and it will puree in seconds (great for fresh tomtoes). We also use it to make five gallons of salad dressing at a time. Very convienient. Looks like a jack hammer made by Robot Coupe. I use my smaller one at home to make guacamole, mix girly driks, mole sauce and of course soups
