Pam....to add to the ice bowl, which I used to do 'back in the day'.....add some strawberries/orange slices to the 'ice bowl'. It looks awesome in addition to the fruit you'll be serving.

BTW, have done the processor but like the small chunks of veggies. It's an individual thingy. But, it's a time saver!

Oh, forgot to add a quick and yummy appetizer:
I make a Tomato Caprese on a stick. Get some wooden skewers. On the skewers alternate little grape tomatoes, little mozzarella balls & basil. Alernate to fill the skewer. Then before serving drizzle with salt, pepper, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It's awesome and low cal. I made some of these in Saratoga last week for apps and we saw them on a menu the next day at the track for 3 skewers @$13.00! Geesh.....I could make enough for the neighborhood for $13.00.
Also, to serve with pizzaz.....fill a small vase with cranberries or blueberries and stick the skewers pointy side up. It looks great, sort of like firecrackers, and a dramatic way to serve them!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />
