The Four Seasons has the only 18 hole regulation golf course on Nevis. It's available to anyone willing to pay the Greens Fees (I think its around $250) so you don't have to stay at the resort in order to play there. Contrary to Zanshin's observation the course is not always in best of shape. From a distance it looks great but up close it leaves a lot to be desired. Fairways are narrow, undulating and heavily sloped in spots often resulting in uneven lies. Balls landing right or left of fairway center have a good chance of rolling through the first cut into the woods. Greens have 2 and 3 different kinds of grasses (on the same greens) making putting a challenge. Fairways are often very dry.
There's a 12 hole short "chip & putt" course at Cat Ghaut (near Mount Nevis Hotel) that's open to the public. Holes range from about 70 yards to 140 yards all with postage stamp size "greens" (I use the term "greens" very loosely).
There's a private chip & putt "golf course" with 2 holes and 10 tees the belongs to the Nevis Golf Association. Its members only so you'd have to be an invited guest to play there.
