Updated the title to show accommodation rental question, nothing to do with cars- but I appreciate those responses!

I found - Welcome to SXM - Babriel Montigny - online

Looking for feedback, seem to remember a small thread on this several months ago?

Also thoughts on paying a deposit by wire transfer

Thanks

Why do you have to make a deposit on a rental car ? I'd be cautious of that.

We have rented with three local car rental agencies and never were asked for a deposit. Our friends have used several others with no deposit required.

Check out the reliable rental agencies from Ttol sponsor section.

The fact they want you to pay by wire transfer sounds like a scam to me.

This sounds more like accommodations than car rentals. Wire transfer if you know them well otherwise use credit card or pass on it.

It is never recommended to pay by wire transfer. Right on the VRBO site they say never to do this. If they do not take credit cards, use pay pal to complete your transaction as it is very secure.

Exactly.. we use a wire transfer for our Paris rental but we have rented with them MANY times...would not use it first time..CC or PP as mentioned
