What is the name and contact information for the guy who is very knowledgeable about renting villas in Orient Bay area. I believe is is Jim Rios (spelling) or something similar. Thanks in advance.

His name is Jim Ruos (I know I'm close but sp?) and in all the years I've been on this forum I have never heard or read a bad word about him and/or his business practices. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

We have used Jim Ruos and also Magali Bertho who lives right in Orient Village and really knows the lay of the land there. Her info is...Island Escape Rentals...magali@islandescapesxm.com. Good luck and have fun!

I would recommend Jim, but I would strongly recommend against renting from Magali Bertho. We rented from her in the past and had our locked safe opened with a master key that should have been secured in the company office. While we all understand problems happen, her reaction was to ignore us and hope we just went away. If she would have just helped us find a new place to stay and had a little understanding, I would be recommending her. But agents are supposed to help their clients, not walk away. I would hope no one ever has the experience we had with a robbery and with Magali's lack of customer service.

Harry--I didn't remember the name of the agent, but I remember that happened to you. Jim would never treat a client of his like that.

I remember when you posted your experience after it happened and thought the agent was very unprofessional. We have used Jim a few times and would recommend him.

Hi Carol, I completely agree, Jim is a professional and my interactions with him have always been great. He does look out for his clients.
