Since our anniversary is February 27, we usually stay home for Valentine's Day, and go out for our anniversary. I'm planning on making Sole Meuniere, with butternut squash risotto and roasted asparagus. For dessert, Molten Chocolate Baby Cakes which I've posted here before. The sole recipe is from Ina Garten. What are you doing for Valentine's Day?

I positively LOATHE limp, raw bacon though. Is there a way to do them so the bacon is relatively well done? Carol Hill

I used some chicken sausage that I had in the freezer that was somewhat freezer burned, so it gave it a funny whang, and put in some leftover turkey that I had in the freezer .. I was not impressed, so not sure I will post it.... Carol Hill

Leagle49 Traveler Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 830 Grosse Pointe, Michigan	Actually, for my bacon wrapped scallops, I buy a package of that precooked bacon. It's limp enough to be easy to wrap around the scallop, but firm enough to be easy to use, and crisps up nicely as the scallops cook.
