My wife,I and four friends chartered Fair Winds II (48ft Mono) from CYOA for ten days Dec. 5- Dec 15. We had a great trip to the Spanish Virgins and US Virgins and also BVI. CYOA was first rate. I was pleased with how thorough the check out was and that the CYOA staff made sure that we understood the many new to us systems on the very nice boat.
Check in went very smooth and there was a bottom check and sail check. CYOA was very helpful and I am planning on a vacation with them next year.
Satisfied customer. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Wink.gif" alt="" />

Did fair winds II have a Customs Sticker for the SVI?
All my experiences with CYOA reflect your comments as well.

Glad you guys had a great trip. Welcome to the CYOA Family.

Yes our boats are registered with Customs for the SVI's.

Very glad, but not in the least surprised, you had a great experience with CYOA. We've chartered with them many times for close to 3 decades and have never been disappointed for a moment. In fact, we are looking forward to sailing out on Day One with CYOA on January 1!

Ok Shifty - you've got me curious. We did our first CYOA charter in 1984.

When was your first charter?

CYOA is our island home away from home. Love you guys!

Twanger, I'm pretty sure my first CYOA trip was with my dad in 1986. Of course in those days CYOA was based out of the east end of the harbor (Yacht Haven, I think?). Since then, we've only used other companies on a couple of occasions and only then because boat availability required it. I sure do wish I could remember the name of that first boat. Great memories!

Yes, that was back in the days that there was a yacht club there. It has since been demolished. Our first two charters were on Dollfin, an Endevour 33 sloop.
