Quick, easy & great on the grill:
Tenderize the flank steak with a mallet. In a mortar crush together approx. 2 oz cilantro, black pepper, salt, the juice of a half lemon, a clove of garlic and approx. 1 oz. of limoncello. Marinate the steak for about an hour, then grill. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" />

I think it tastes like soap also... I usually substitute curly parsley...

How weird. I like the taste of cilantro, in small batches anyway. Eric doesn't like it, so I don't use it much. I never asked him if he thought it tastes like soap though...

peconic said: I think it tastes like soap also... I usually substitute curly parsley... Interesting. I love cilantro but don't particularly like parsley!
