For years we would have breakfast at the Kangaroo Court or the Barefoot Terrace. Both are gone. Now where? Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Chesterfield's and they will comp your parking for 2 hours (I think that is the time allowed) when dining there. Parking at at the front entrance.

Chesterfield's

One of our favorite places. Parking is very convenient and is comped as was mentioned.

When we go into P'berg we usually have a destination in mind and more often than not it's my favorite jeweler who just happens to be across from the Holland House. We usually go into town early and park in the midtown municipal lot, and in the past have usually eaten at Barefoot Terrace but as it's now gone, I wouldn't hesitate to suggest the Holland House which has always been good. Sometimes the morning staff can be a little grumpy but the food is always good as is the setting. If we're going to town for other purposes than to see our friendly jeweler we usually start out at Chesterfields and take advantage of the parking lot there. As I recall, Pasanggrahan also does a nice breakfast, and I'm sure there will be other suggestions.

Holland House is a little more upscale and Chesterfield's is a little bit more casual and a few blocks from he main downtown but also right on the beach.

A fun local place for tourists and locals is Cornies. It is right on the beach and about a block from the heart of downtown to the west on the boardwalk.

Marge if you want to hang with the locals there is a place on back street just down from the court house towards the dock end called Mai tai's I think. They serve fresh squeezed smoothies and have a small breakfast buffet. Very good and reasonably priced. Sorry I cannot be more specific. Perhaps someone else remembers the name of it.

Extremely directionally challenged, among other things, so if standing on the Holland House stairs, looking at the water, is Cornies to the left or to the right along the Boardwalk?

Cronies is at the other end of Front Street on the boardwalk to the right. We have had lunch there many times, but I was not aware that they served breakfast.

If you are standing on the stairs at the Holland House looking at the water Cornies is to the right. Breakfast starts around 6:30 am. Great view of the ocean.

We go to the Pasanggrahan Royal Guest House for breakfast-nothing fancy but good. Nice view, neat old hotel. The Bohemian pancakes are a speciality. A cross between a pancake and a crepe.
