For years we would have breakfast at the Kangaroo Court or the Barefoot Terrace. Both are gone. Now where? Any suggestions? Thanks!

When we go into P'berg we usually have a destination in mind and more often than not it's my favorite jeweler who just happens to be across from the Holland House. We usually go into town early and park in the midtown municipal lot, and in the past have usually eaten at Barefoot Terrace but as it's now gone, I wouldn't hesitate to suggest the Holland House which has always been good. Sometimes the morning staff can be a little grumpy but the food is always good as is the setting. If we're going to town for other purposes than to see our friendly jeweler we usually start out at Chesterfields and take advantage of the parking lot there. As I recall, Pasanggrahan also does a nice breakfast, and I'm sure there will be other suggestions.

DougK37614 said: Holland House is a little more upscale and Chesterfield's is a little bit more casual and a few blocks from he main downtown but also right on the beach.
A fun local place for tourists and locals is Cornies. It is right on the beach and about a block from the heart of downtown to the west on the boardwalk. Extremely directionally challenged, among other things, so if standing on the Holland House stairs, looking at the water, is Cornies to the left or to the right along the Boardwalk?

Cronies is at the other end of Front Street on the boardwalk to the right. We have had lunch there many times, but I was not aware that they served breakfast.
