Macjack said: I have guests coming to St. Maarten with me. I figure we'll end up at or near Orient beach around lunch time on a Sunday. Any suggestions on where to go for lunch? Always fun to hit one of the LOLOs in Grand case. Not upscale by any means but a good experience.

For ribs and chicken, old time Caribbean feel, usually with steel drum music, I would say Pedros. For upscale, LaPlaya, but you said you didn't want that.

We stayed at La Playa last April, but rarely saw anybody eating there. I heard they now have a new chef, is that correct?
