Does anyone have the scoop on restaurant/bar closures today for Carnival? We are trying to plan our day and will be avoiding Pburg with parade traffic, etc
It's been quite rainy the last couple days so if today is similar we aren't anxious to do a long haul beach day...

Although today is labor day and tomorrow is a public holiday for carnival, all bars and restaurants and businesses are allowed to open as long as they pay the overtime hours to employees (double time). I would imagine most bars and restaurants would be open. Not sure about the French side for today as it's labor day on that side too but tomorrow everything over there will be open as it's not their carnival holiday.
