Just be aware, they tax on 25% "tax" so their weekly quoted rates aren't quite as low as they initially appear, but still reasonable. Overall, we're paying $293 for 26 days, or a bit over $11/day for a Hyundai I10, declining all insurance. I also watch the rates, as they historically have declined the closer to travel date we get. Not really a whole heck of a lot to reduce these rates from, though.

I have rented from Empress for several years and last year there were different people running it. Have gotten good service and price from Empress. I stay 5-6 weeks, so I am concerned with cost.

TANDP Traveler T Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 225 Shelton, Wash.	We rented with ACE in Orlando. Is it the same company that rents cars in SXM? If it is we would never rent from them again. It was a horrible experience that took three weeks to fix. Too many issues to talk about here.
