Greetings, we're obviously keeping an eye on the low pressure system out east but so far so good.

We decided to pick up a sim card at the cell phone store in Grand Marche. Cost $20 and came with a $10 credit and a Dutch side phone number, plan on using it mostly just in case of emergency. It when right into one of our iphone 5 (Verizon unlocked).

We were sitting at the Perch having a HH drink on Friday when we looked over an saw some old friends that we had lost touch with. The strange thing is that we knew them from back home and did not know that they came to SXM. Getting together with them a few times has been a treat.

Took a walk on the beach yesterday (Sunday) afternoon because we heard that there was entertainment in a few places. Kon Tiki was crazy with booming loud music and a very young crowd. Never saw it that packed. We opted for Aloha which had a very lively crowd of diverse ages and a island singer that really got things going. His version "You can leave your hat on" got the owner doing some PG-13ish dancing with some of the crowd. Very entertaining. BTW we found the food at Aloha to be outstanding.

Seaweed is getting heavy on OB, mostly up mid beach. As you got down to the Club O watersports there was none.

Till Next Time,

Thanks for the report. We haven't been to Aloha in several years, not sure why. Guess we should get there again..

I love Nathalie. Aloha is my favorite beach bar.
