On Friday night we went to Emilio's Restaurant for my wife's Birthday. We were welcomed by Susan ; owner and Dino (Temptation Fame) head chef who then took us to Emilio's Terrace which was delightful. The restaurant was charming and music playing was appropriate for dining. Not blaring but perfect for the occasion. As expected the service by our waiter Arian; the son of their famous Mixologist was perfect. The view of the new Zip Line lift added to the ambiance.
Wine was served in very nice wine glasses and our meals were fantastic. The owners Susan and Norman visited our table and their 2 sons came over to make sure we were happy. A real family affair. Dino also came over and wished my wife a Happy birthday.

The restaurant is open all day as they serve lunch and Dinner. It is at the base of the new ZIP line park. Plenty of parking .

All in all I have to say we would put Emilio's at the top of the list as to must go too destination when you visit St Maarten. chef dine :

Thanks for the report! Of course, it can't be surprising that any restaurant where Dino is the chef has to be fantastic! Just exactly how do you get there??

Make a right after passing the Carrefour SuperMarket and go about five hundred yards. Can't miss it.

i just looked up the location. Go to their website and under FAQs there are directions. It's near Emillio Wilson Park.

Make a right at Carrefour, coming from Simpson Bay?? So, down past Cost U Less?? Or, essentially go straight through the roundabout??

By the way, I note that Paul Peterson, master bartender, is there also. thumbsup

Up the hill towards St. Peters I believe. It is located near the New Rainforest Adventure Park that had many up in arms due to the destruction of certain areas around it.

Rainforest Adventure Park

I guess I'll just have to go see for myself, as I don't know the area, once I get off the main road. Don't know where the Rainforest Adventure Park is.

Go up the hill where the Texaco station at the round-a-bout is across from Mark's Place.

I spoke to Dino and he is waiting to see what happens to Starz Casino where Temptation is located. Right now he is happy to be at Emilio's and also as celebrity chef on cruise ships.

Several years ago I posted about our drive to St Peters and stop at Emilio's Park and the hundreds of colorful bird houses in the park. The view from up there is magnificent! Sounds like this restaurant will be a success.

It opened when we were there in Dec. It is a very nice place. Inside and outside seating I think. We were outside. The staff was really nice. We might try the lift when we go in Feb. We are not going to do the zipline, however. We were told the lift takes about 30 minutes up and 30 minutes down.
