Wow, that doesn't look like fun. Sure sounds like the captain made a wrong decision, unless of course it wasn't his decision, which it could well have been a company made call.. Lots of damage and lots of upset people. This deal of sailing ships from NYC in the winter is crazy! And based on the weather here last week, I'm sure that it probably wasn't that warm in the Bahamas last week anyway.
